Ok, I assume that means you're using Outlook Express as the mail program. So...go to your mail program, Go to the top menu bar, and select "tools" and scroll down to "options". Select that. A box opens up...select the tab that says "read". There are a bunch of items with checkmarks (or not) next to them. The first one (I think) says "mark read after __ seconds". Make sure that one is checked, and then enter a 1 in the blank before "seconds". Select "ok". You should be good to go! -Joe
