I think what most people are forgetting here is that Novell is VERY WELL entrenched with Corporate America - when Novell executes Dr. Schmidt's plan for internet speed and more products centered around the directory, Novell will not lose. Yeah, the individual and the power of the internet is changing the world. It's an evolution/revolution that can not de-throne the corporate structure. We've seen advances in technology that promised the same and more only advance the ability of corporations to grow in power as well as in size. digitalme will offer people/companies/communities the ability to do things which we can only imagine right now. If you think these are just words, just sit back, print this message out and let's discuss it in 3 years or so. If I'm wrong, I not only lose face but lose everything else as well :) Beyond that, when all is said and done there's one group of people who will ALWAYS choose Novell - the techies. In today's environment, your network HAS to be up and running. It has to benefit your business' bottom line without question. Novell meets that head on with NDS in any way you cut/slice/dice/shake and bake it. There's no valid argument against what NDS can do for anyone who has the imagination to extend it's current prowness. The techies know it - and you know what? More and more upper management positions are opening up to techie-types. Think about it, within just a few years the IT department went from just a bunch of geeks and nerds to mainstream business departments. Who ever would have conceived of IT charging back to other divisions!?! Heck, some companies are built around their IT departments first! It's happening! And Novell knows this market well :) Well, better than most :) Peter J Strifas
