I was just asked by PM what Álamo Dorado means - it means Golden Poplar.
álamo = poplar, dorado = golden ... there is likely a creek or spring nearby where poplar grows, or grew years ago.

Looking forward to seeing the metallurgy and drilling results. This is the only silver play i hold at the moment, it better be good -g- ... nice to see it with so little paper out, at 10.6mil fd that's not much of a market cap yet.

It makes perfect sense. Unless the price of silver rises the return on this drilled prospect is marginal. It only represents stock price leverage if the POS rises substantially. Otherwise, it's shut-in with a front end discovery cost.

Analyzing a mining company's prospecting spectrum is somewhat like putting a fifth wheel on a wagon or like picking the hot numbers at a beauty contest. It doesn't earn you a dime. HL did as well as this hot number in the recent run-up. Even if it hadn't, anything silver will rise somewhat proportionately. The difference between the alternatives is not worth the work finding a fifth wheel.

I never hear a word from any judges when it is time to move with any play. It takes guts to get aboard the train while it is leaving. Spending time analyzing drilling runs paralyzes you from acting at the right moment. You end up holding and that isn't right with PMs. The way to move at the right time is to know only a little and be indifferent about losses. You have to know what forces on the biggest scale are changing psychology. When it comes to PMs psychology is the name of the game, not PE ratios.

I read the data and I wasn't impressed, but I was surprised by locals' comments that it was so good. I thought your comments were speculative. That approach plays out fast and doesn't leave you with the silver spoon.
