THC, Yeah, I read that a while back and largely agree with it. Hathaway makes some good points and without resorting to all the idle speculation and innuendo to which Butler seems prone. Did you listen to Barrick's conference call? Guess who one of the participants was. In his piece, Hathaway brings up Barrick's exposure to the renewal of lease rates, which is a concern I have, too. This was covered extensively in the conference call. Barrick's management seemed to think that variations in lease rates were manageable. I would also like to believe that Barrick is well enough connected to deal with this, off-market, should a sustained high lease rate situation arise.
