Wonderful thing, that portfolio, no? ;-)

Of course, I was originally talking about the 0.25u Athlon, comparing it to AMD's previous (and current) volume product, the K6-x. But as you might have noticed these days, I no longer criticize the Athlon for having such a huge die size relative to the P6. After seeing some of the die size figures at MPF, and after learning how big Merced and Willamette are going to be, I now feel that Athlon is rather dinky compared to the others.
