Paul: <<Why should Intel abandon a price war?>>

For your own benefits: shareholder in both AMD and Intel!

<<Intel put $1,900,000,000 in AFTER TAX profits into their bank account last quarter.>>

Without the price war, that amount could very well be doubled to make Intel the MOST profitable company on earth.

<<Seems that the AMD Jihad PRICE WAR only hurt AMD - which, as usual, posted another loss of over ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS !>>

Exactly another reason to quit the price war if CB have enough guts: Intel makes less money than it should make and AMD makes no money at all for the time being that are milking all these .com companies.

You and rest of the AMDers here should focus instead on how to make both companies catching on in sharing the wealth created by the Internet age.
