To marginmike and Voltaire,

Being from Atlanta and much as I hate to agree with MM, the Atlanta Braves do suffer, at the worst times, from lack of heart. The "team of the ninties" has won exactly one World Series. The first two World Series that they lost and the Cleveland series they won the team definitely had heart, but after that they seemed to go into cruise control where it was taken for granted that they would win and complacency killed them. They won the first 2 games with the Yankees and then just flat out stopped. I guess they expected the Yankees to capitulate right then and there. Maybe they found some of that old heart last night!!! They are going to need it!!

They beat Kenny Rodgers the bigest big game choke artist that ever lived. How Valantine could leave their season to him is pathetic. The Mets beat themselves, The braves have to beat the Yanks to prove they have any heart. By the way I think A Jones and Chipper are gammers but I think the braves pitching staff might be short of gammers.
