OK, now I am nervous. If one of these cogeneration facilities uses 60+ BCF in nine months, that means that 40 plants of this size would by themselves completely consume a fully stocked US supply in one year. There are dozens of these plants coming online in the next 2 years alone. That's an incredible demand increase with no storage increase. Even if some of them are only used as peaking units, it implies a huge drain of the nation's NG supplies during the dog days of summer. I need to look into this more. I may begin buying NG futures.
