Anyone else notice a decreased number of boxes on shelves at computer retailers. Half way hard to find a best seller at outlets in Hilton Head and Savannah. Even "display" boxes have disappeared. Questions for Reseller and others -- 1. Are we awaiting Christmas season batch of "new" models? 2. Is there an actual shortage of m'boards and memory? 3. Are major companies abandoning retail in favor of direct sales? 4. Is Y2K wait-and-see attitude going to turn Q4 '99 into a bust?
