Chief - I agree STOPS STOPS IT is all about disciplined SELLING - STOPS to prevent losses from accumulating. Selling and taking profit when the time is right and not based on waiting for a gazillion bagger and living in the caymans - It aint gonn happen.

Most of my mistakes are on the sell side - WE all make bad buys - If we realize it quickly and use the rules we can minimize the damage. A good buy is GREat if and only if it is followed by a good sell. A bad sell - waiting too long as greed sets in can completely offset all gains.

I am not trading much as I am up to my ass in gators - I was up in 1999 until July hit and I had 13 consecutive sell orders for losses - Partially because I could noit be at the puter all day. Since I have two young children to feed and minimal cvapital I have deceided to curtail my trading until such a time as I can do it fulltime. I continue to learn every day ( read - mistakes)

I rememberf 90% of my trades and I made 800 of them this year
