2- This is significant for Intel: "Enterprise market segment is growing faster than the departmental level." This implies acceptance at the high-end, where margins are better 3- My favorite quote was: "it eclipsed a Sun machine with Oracle." Supposedly an 8-way INTC + MSFT NT/SQLServer box eclipsed a 32-way Sun box running Oracle; based on the CC, but no mention of processor speeds used for the Sun box. INTC + NT/SQLServer already have the TPC-C title for 4-way and it looks like they will have it for eight way. I hope to see the results on tpc.org soon. This is very exciting for INTC and MSFT as they push into these new markets; workstations and mid-end servers. This will no doubt cause some heartburn for SUNW, HPUX, and IBM. IMHO. James
