Extrapolating from the various sub numbers that have come out of the US, Japan and Korea I think the following numbers may be close for sub growth during the 3rd quarter.

Korea.... 3.3m
Japan.... 1m
US....... 2m
Latin Am. .5m

I'm using relatively conservative numbers......Grand Total of 6.8m new subs to bring the total to over 40m total.

- news) today announced expanded tools for its community of more than 22,000 developers with the availability of
CodeWarrior® for the Palm Computing® platform, Release 6. The latest version of the premier development tool for the Palm
Computing platform features kits for developing wireless, web-enabled Palm VII(TM) connected organizer applications, as
well as tools for Japanese language applications and Japanese user interfaces. Palm Computing markets CodeWarrior for the
Palm Computing platform exclusively through a licensing agreement with Metrowerks.

CodeWarrior Release 6 for Palm Computing Platform software is the leading tools package for creating applications that run
on Palm Computing platform products, including the Palm III(TM) series, Palm V(TM) series, Palm VII(TM) connected
organizers, and handheld products from OEM customers and licensees such as IBM, Symbol, QUALCOMM, HandSpring,
TRG and others. The newest package provides changes to the Constructor(TM) user interface tool for creating Japanese
application user interface, the complete API Reference Specification from HandSpring, and new printing libraries from Symbol
Technologies. It also includes two toolkits; one for developing applications to directly access Internet data through web clipping
technology on the Palm VII organizer without utilizing the PQA Builder, and one that provides Application Programming
Interfaces for Japanese application development.
