OK....to the bulls credit I will say that gumm is not ready to short yet. Still in a rising wedge. Hell, if it breaks out of it on the upside I might go long! But it won't be because of the fundamentals. 14 day duration for a cold??? Where do you guys live? I bet its more smog related than cold related.

Zicam Trial- Day 2.

Well, last night was truly miserable. By the time I went to bed I had developed a mild cough and my sinuses were so plugged I could hardly breath, let alone blow my nose. I also had a screaming sinus headache which Zicam seemed to aggravate for some reason. No matter how hard I tried, I could not sleep one wink last night and I cursed myself for not buying some Nyquil in addition to the Zicam. The front of the Zicam box says "Fast Acting" but no where in their literature does it define what "fast acting" means. Nyquil, pseudofed, dristan- now those are fast acting. How many consumers are going to read the Zicam box and know that when they say "fast acting" they mean one or two days not one or two hours? Not many I would suppose.

Anyway, by the time this morning rolled around my situation had improved somewhat. My slight cough is still here but my nasal congestion isn't as bad. I guess one positive aspect of being unable to sleep last night was that I was able to continue to administer Zicam throughout the night at 4 hour intervals. However, I wouldn't say that my situation has improved dramatically enough to attribute the improvement to Zicam. Usually, when I get a cold the first night is the worst. After that, the symptoms trail off to a low grade infection that lasts a week or more. My cough often gets worse from here on out too. The key question now will be- how long will this low grade infection stage last for me? If it's over by Friday, then there might be something to the claims surrounding Zicam. If it lasts into next week, then I'd say Zicam has had no positive effect on my cold whatsoever. We'll see.

I also noticed that the Zicam box says "Satifaction Guaranteed". Guaranteed or what? Do I get my $11.99 back if I am dissatisfied?
