There's nothing wrong with buy and hold strategy for a stock like JNPR. In the past, I held stocks for at least 6 months, but given the extreme volatility in the internet sector, I have only recently changed my strategy to trade on short-term swings. I am hoping for a reentry point at $200 - $220, but like you said, that point may never come. I sold JNPR to increase my cash position (15%), and when the next market downturn occurs, I'll be buying JNPR like crazy again.

I predict JNPR will hit $300 by early next year.

Regards,

re-entry point?

wait for the lock up period to expire this friday ( company went public on Jul 22nd, right?) and may be the additional liquidity will give you your entry point.
