Interesting post, S&P

<< Niko Resources confirms a 1.65 TCF gas field, with a 10 MMcf/day test.
I posted this to show non-O&G types that we don't need a 100 MMcf/day test at ELH to demonstrate a large gas field. >>

Also noticed the following in the Research Capital report on elandjennings.com dated October 8th....

<< With a successful production test it is estimated that independent engineers could book reserves of between 1.0 and 1.5 tcf for the Bellevue #1R well alone. If the Berkley #1 well, two miles north is successful, and penetrates deeper into the Temblor, the potential to more than double this amount is very real. >>

Things should get even more interesting and soon.

Here is a rather elimentary question that I thought you may be able to help me with. I hope you oil/gas learned folks on the thread will endure my ignorance.

1. If gas is being sold on the world markets at $3.00/? and we have 1tcf of it at any or all wells being drilled what is the actual in ground value of the reservoir and

2. what would the value of the company which holds 10% of it. What is the unit of measurement of gas which is used to price gas...ie $3.00/what. Is it a cubic meter too?

Thanks

Ray
