Zicam Trial- Day 3 Well I woke up today to discover that my cold is still here. I still have nasal congestion and I still have some chest congestion accompanied by a cough. Since I am now taking some additional medications to help alleviate the symptoms (ie cough medicine, pseudofed),it's hard to tell if Zicam has really done anything at all. Sure, I feel "better" than I did yesterday but that may disappear as the day wears on as I described yesterday. I am beginning to doubt that I will be able to eliminate this thing by tomorrow or even next week. I am still administering the Zicam but it still aggravates my sinuses a little. I would imagine that most people would have chucked their bottle of Zicam in the trash can by now and gone back to the usual treatments. Who's going to stick to the regime if the stuff 1)has no apparent immediate effect and 2) aggravates your sinuses? But hey, I still have one more day to go before I lose faith totally.
