Healtheon, WebMD, MEDE America and Greenberg News Networks Announce Respective Stockholder Meeting Dates for Merger Approval

biz.yahoo.com

Healtheon will hold its annual meeting of its stockholders on November 11, 1999 at 8:00 a.m., PST, at the executive offices of Healtheon located at 4600 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, California 95054. At this meeting, Healtheon stockholders will vote to approve the merger of Healtheon and WebMD and to approve changing the Healtheon Corporation name to Healtheon/WebMD Corporation if the WebMD merger is completed.

The Healtheon and WebMD merger does not depend on Healtheon's merger with MEDE AMERICA. However, the Medcast merger with Healtheon does depend on the WebMD merger with Medcast.

Note: there is a subsequent correction for this article.

Correction -- Healtheon Corporation
In SFTU151, ''Healtheon, WebMD, MEDE America and Greenberg News Networks Announce Respective Stockholder Meeting Dates for Merger Approval,'' moved earlier today, we are advised by a representative of the company that the sixth paragraph, third line, should read, ''... WebMD merger with Healtheon,'' rather than, ''... WebMD merger with Medcast,'' as originally issued.
