Looks like it's time to sell again - the shorts are unrelenting. My basis is 17 so I have to hold but this is really getting tiresome. Bears are trying (and succeeding) to paint a heavy tape for LU.

Layoffs are going to happen but that is cutting the fat and should not be viewed negatively. When you have 140,000 employees reducing your workforce by 1000 is only cutting it by 0.7%. That is nothing. 3-5% is something to think about.
People have no idea how big Lucent is.
