Peppe: Cash is a good place to be, particularly if the alternative is buying or holding Newbridge.

By the way, I'm seeing signs of inflation for the first time in the 90s. Everywhere you go these days, prices seem to be firming. From putting gas in your car to shopping for groceries or dining out, prices are definitely rising. A case in point, I bought some items in the grocery store the other day that reflect this trend. One item that cost $1.79 a month ago is now going for $2.19, and another has jumped from $2.59 to $2.99.

There is absolutely no doubt that inflation is back, but it could take a few months before it starts to really show up in the CPI numbers.
