Jeff, what Microsoft giveth, IBM taketh away.

Re CNBC, IBM came in at 93 cents (good) but 3 cents of that was a non-recurring income from sale of a company. So, they hit consensus on the money. Also, however, IBM saying Y2K might (will) hit 4Q99 and 1Q00 results. Just exactly the last thing high tech wants to hear. What's the cutesy symbol for a groan?
