Gambler, Indonesia is a mess. The central Government showered the benefits of the economic upturn solely upon their Javanese "brothers and sisters". But now that an economic downturn has hit Indonesia the Government wants to "share the pain" with all Indonesians. You can imagine how well that that plays in the provinces.. And the sleight of hand the Indonesian legislature just pulled to keep Sukarno's daughter out of power and put in Wahid, just said "more of the same BS" from the Javanese ruling clique... That's why rioting is occurring IMO...
