SEATTLE - Action Sports Media Inc. (ASM), a member of the Paul G. Allen
family of sports companies, today announced it has signed a letter of intent to
acquire StadiaNet Sports, the market leader in installing and programming
large-screen video displays (LSVD) and scoreboards for university stadiums and
arenas. No terms were disclosed.

The proposed transaction, which is scheduled to close shortly, will integrate the
comprehensive sponsorship expertise of ASM with StadiaNet's national network
of LSVDs serving 13 Division I football stadiums and four basketball arenas.
These include: Parker Stadium at Oregon State University; Bryant-Denny
Stadium and Coleman Coliseum at the University of Alabama; Vanderbilt Stadium
and Memorial Gym at Vanderbilt University; Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium at the
University of Mississippi; Scott Field at Mississippi State University; Darryl K.
Royal Stadium and Erwin Special Events Center at the University of Texas; Kyle
Field at Texas A & M; Wagner Field at Kansas State University; Lewis Field at
Oklahoma State University; Kinnick Stadium at the University of Iowa; Ross-Ade
Stadium at Purdue University; Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium at the University of
Memphis and Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling Arena at the University of
Tennessee.. The acquisition brings technology "right to the field" - enhancing the
sport fan's experience by providing instant game-related information (such as
replays and statistics), program content broadcast via satellite, interactive
promotions, dynamic advertising, and more. In addition, StadiaNet will expand
ASM's current reach of marketing partnerships that include the University of
Washington's Husky Stadium & Seafirst Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
Action Sports Media is advised on this transaction by NationsBanc Montgomery
Securities.
