Bill what customers? :) In SCMR's case they got one (sort of) as far as we know and the others guys Cerent who are their customers other than CSCO? Of course this all could change, for all we know SCRM may have lined up others by now.

Again, I've heard very little from customers on SCMR. I am aware that the SN-6000 is in labs at Williams but not on the live network yet. Cerent is also in labs at Williams but also is being used by a number of CLEC on live services...the reports have been excellent. Cerent/Cisco is enjoying good success and with CSCO Cerent has an easier time getting audiences with the I and C LEC's as well as ISP's and IXC's that might deploy such a product. So, although SCMR has a great product (I think) they will have a number of challenges. NT and LU are set or are developing.... So, what about SCMR, JNPR, and say a RBAK, or a CMTN getting together to create the next great company???? Hmmmmmmm..... OG
