That is the way it seems to work all over the high-tech space.

The market leaders are anointed gorillas and get valuations that can be more than an order of magnitude larger than their competitors.

Compare:
YHOO (47B) - Lycos (5B)
EBAY (19B) - ONSL (0.35B)
MSFT (479B) - ORCL (65B)
CSCO (228B) - COMS (10B)

The market caps of BVSN and OMKT are therefore following a standard pattern. You can argue until your blue in the face about the rationale of the market but don't expect it to change anytime soon.

The only thing that would change the market cap ratio between these two would be a major faux pas by BVSN or an (uncharacteristic) stroke of genius by OMKT.

OMKT is clearly not as good as BVSN, but is it really only worth a tenth as much (in market cap)? It is still the case that OMKT is very, very undervalued relative to BVSN.
