(off topic) a short simple reply to Bob

hedging
I feel it is a legitimate financial tool,
but it is up to each firm to decide...

I agree Bob, and I also agree with Russett that hedging is an activity that is
used by all people in all activities to better prepare and regulate things.

(baseball)
I'am not in sports, but I remember that an outfielder will hedge his position
so that he can run forwards or reverse so as to be able to play
both possibilities.

All that we know about the future is that it cannot be planned with accuracy.

I'am anti gun control, but think the NRA is sick in their stand.

handgun
I feel it is a legitimate survival tool,
but it is up to each person to decide how it is used

The above I am Very UNcomfortable with, gun or hedging, as abuse and
incorrectness and criminal activity are too Easy to accomplish.

I'am against "more government regulation", but when I see the extreme misuse
of guns or hedging, then action is needed to change the status quo.

As for hedging, once again I know this not and have decided to accept GATA
and Bill Murphy's stand as my stand simply because I know of abuse in the
paper money situation and they are the ONLY ones asking for a change.

So to me, support GATA or do nothing except empty bitching and by default
the Ron Reece(s) of the world will decide for us TOTALLY 100%.

I have said many times, the problem is not the bad people doing bad,
but the good people letting the bad people do bad.

The Ron Reece of this SI is not a bad person, but a "tool" used by the
bad people to accomplish their bad deeds.
