I'm currently placing orders on Schwab's after hours system, accessing REDIBook ECN. Unfortunately, there are no quotes for most stocks that I follow. It's a ghost town for third-tier.

Amgen is currently bid 79 1/8, having closed at 86 1/8. Lots of op for making $$$, but nobody home playing our game......

Their strategy is VERY strange. Not only are they raising the price of DISCOVER to Schwab like rates, but their price for the flat fee option is higher, as a % of assets, than Merrill's.

Admittedly the ML site is still rudimentary as a trading platform, but it is nice to get those confirms showing zero commissions
