Cancer scare....

Hi Pleaps

You should be at least concerned.

re Apples - Apples per se don't cause cancer. It's the chemical soup of pesticides and preservatives that are applied to the fruit that
are so dangerous. Simple washing will no remove these chemicals
as the fruit is waxed while on the tree to allow these chemical to adhere and resist wash off during rain. The only way of getting the wax off is to peel the fruit.

Back OT regarding Cell 'phones.

The industry has had it's head buried in the sand to a certain extent.
The only studies within the industry I am aware off studied the
effects of the human head on propogation .

The 20/20 (?) program tonight will focus on an external study, commissioned by the industry in an effot to dispel health fears. Looks as if that effort hasn't worked.

Before one gets too concerned, be aware that even a short distance ( i.e. millimeteres) beween the antenna and the head drastically reduces the energy absorbed. Personally, I wouldn't clamp my 'phone to my belt, with the antenna jammed up against my body. I would also use it hands free (say via a headset) wherever possible.
