Lizzie, it has to do with what's called a 'Unified School District.' That means that the elementary and secondary schools are under the same jurisdiction. There are very few of those. Palo Alto, Piedmont for example, and Cupertino is close enough. San Marino in William's territory is another example. I really don't know that much about Pleasanton's school's. But buying PA is kinda like buying aol, yhoo, msft or csco. It is really hard to go wrong! (Besides, I would like you for a neighbor. <g>)
