>Seriously, any thoughts on this?

Yes. The entire media industry, the financial industry, the government, and most of the american population have a GIGANTIC interest in keeping this bubble going as long as possible.

It may indeed be impossible to fight.

Social security is a pyramid scheme that even the government auditors admit will collapse in the next 40 years, but yet every working stiff in the country is still forced to pay into it, even though most youngsters will never see a dime. It just goes to show that if the american people as a mob want something bad enough, they will get it. Whether or not it makes any sense has absolutely no relevance. You can't fight a mob.

I still think we'll a serious break but it will stop at around 7500-8000. As we fail to move to new highs this year and next, many of the newbies to the market (the one's that believe the crap on cnbs) will lose interest and leave. This will keep a cap on things. But bottom line, no BK and economic violence.
