Mike, I had a big bet on the Mets. I doubled up after a nice win when they beat the Diamondbacks. I lost the bet, of course......but I must tell you that New Yorkers should be very proud of the way those guys played. I have never watched so many great games. Piazza's homer was storybook. What a player. I did feel that loading the bases put way too much pressure on Rogers.......as his control had not been all that great anyhow. Valentine is manager of the year...IMO. Oh well......Next year....it's the Cubs! We can discuss ANYI on another post........I do think we may get a chance to start over.......Lots more issues still.....but I think they will get addressed.....and quickly. It may be a hard road back to $5.00.....but I think that's where we go. bg
