Sorry levy that I said that as I know you must be doing what is needed for your family.
If the market tanks big and for a long spell, I also will be relying on Snowbirds and running a vacation rental here.
But Florida has a climate like here doesn't it? and you are nearly on the beach? Millions would absolutely love to be living there but can only visit.
So many people in the world are struggling just to get shelter and food, from that perspective we are both blessed to even be able to sit here talking about this.
As for investments with Paul's portfolio..
seems it is all risky. Profit / Risk...Playing with informed risk one has a chance at profit.
IMHO PA's wiring schematic for the world will probably come to fruition in some but not all of it's current invisionment.
The NET world is changing very fast and only the greatest minds behind the companies will take this change and work WITH it as it evolves. Russell and Paul are such minds.
To invest in PA's vision I think we also need to be very realistic of not only the great changes to the manifestation of it, but also the Time-frame that each individual piece (company & implementation) will, in real time & terms, actually be operating.
For example companies that will be major players like HSAC, GNET, CHTR and RCNC may not produce a profit as a working, profit generating company for years. An investment now in any of these (and others), is likely a tremendous long-term (years) investment, but shares in those companies may sit idle or even go down (i.e. BYND, CNET and lots of other PA companies) in the next year as many investors wait to see if PA's Wires are crossed or not.
This I would think make your time frame of "holding a month or two" kinda unprofitable. However, I guess you were referring to New PA acquisitions and those are a real wild card for short term (1-6 months) profit unless you have a very good handle on their prospects I suppose.
I know so little on all this that I don't know why I even responded R., but you did ask me what I thought and this is it.
It is raining very hard here but the rainwater goes straight into the porous lava unlike poor Carolina this month, boy have they been getting it.
Later,
Puna

Edit-gee I missed the 5's grub!
