Professor, you make some good points but it seems that BII's mgmt would rather be in any business other than retail. All I hear about is B2B and technology lisc as the way to profitability. They must know something we can't see. PS: as far as BII's site traffic is concerned - based on the last numbers I saw it's not great. A couple of WalMart stores have more traffic in a month than BII's site. >>What I was meaning is that bricks and mortar retailers who want to avoid the huge marketing costs of an e-commerce site could piggy back on BIDS site making it a win win situation for each. Perhaps you have the numbers but BIDS must have a healthy number of visitors by now. Perhaps they need to constantly add variety to keep the visitors coming.
