what Stockett failed to indicate in his Raging Bull post:

"The railcars at Market Street Square are being lifted
onto the tracks by crane. They are being taken to
Pittston Yard for Refurbishment.

I took those picture in 1994ish.

The cars are in bad shape. Homeless have squatted in the cars and many were set on fire."

The above statements are from the individual who photographed them as shown in the URL I gave you in post #2620 and below.

You saw the rust on the exteriors as they were in 1994 (see the car to the left of car #118)- another 5 years worth of exposure can only have made the refurbishment all the more time consuming and costly, and if the interiors have been trashed as indicated you can bet that the plush interior photo either is a mockup of what will be (if one is optimistic) or what they were when the motel first opened up years ago.

In either event showing the plush interior without any explanation that it's what they used to be is highly misleading, given the above remarks by the man who photographed the cars 5 years ago and is in position to know the facts and present them objectively; he has no axe to grind.

BTW, the story about the "Midnight Train to Vegas" (go to uscement.com indicates that photos and a complete list of the cars is included but aside from that non-current interior shot none of the indicated information is actually shown on the site.

More to follow.
