Tony,
I thought you said that Y2K was overblown? You ain't seen nothing yet.
I hope IBM has a big team of attorneys...
Do you know how much litigation costs the GNP every year in this country? It's been estimated at 10% (U of Texas study a few years back)...I wonder what will happen to that after Y2K? Canada has passed a law saying you can't sue over Y2K issues...so has the USA....but only for 90 days...a gift to the lawyers by lawyers...Congress...

Jim

Tony - Re: "There it is...Netfinity is a Xeon based Windows NT server. It got IBM's top marks"

Good detective work !!!

That jibes with Microsoft's POSITIVE comments on Intel Server Platforms.

I hope the idiot analysts can some how bring their feeble brains to figure out that IBM's Mainframe/Y2K problem is an IBM problem - not an Intel problem.

Paul

Thanks Tony for remembering.
Vindication is indeed sweet.
Now when "The Street" realizes that IBM's slowdown in Hardware sales, (Servers and Mainframes), is only IBM related, and that Intel is the main benefactor from IBM's shortfall, all will be well and I will be truly, "a very happy man".
Regards,
Jules
