10- The Internet was invented by Al Gore so our military could communicate in case of a nuclear war in the 1950's. :8-) It was conceived for that reason in case you are wondering. This is a fact that our Uncle Sam figured the net the best place to communicate in times of disaster........like the y2k mongers are predicting. <g> Vendit: You hit an interesting point. Imagine if AOL is truely anywhere and everywhere and in all types of devices. No matter where bomb falls, there will be part of the network alive and you can communicate without hassle.
