Chaz,

Absolutely I think they'll still be dealing with major fallout from the earthquake next quarter, both from their own chip foundry and from problems that the LCD manufacturers may encounter. With any luck it will keep the stock cheap for a few more months and I can accumulate some more. Seriously, I don't see it being a problem long term.

Genesis's big market today is in the flat panel displays that serve as replacements for the big CRT's that most of us have connected to our computers. A few weeks ago I took a stab at looking at the FPD market from a GG perspective and posted the results on my home page because I felt it was too long for a single post here on SI. Here's the link:

The real kicker on this company is that a lot of their technology can also be put to use in HDTV digital televisions. This means they've got a shot at riding 2 tornados, first the conversion from CRT's to FPD's for computers, and then the conversion from analog to digital televisions. While they don't list a lot of digital television customers on their web site, the list is prefaced by the comment "Genesis is not public with many consumer video customers", meaning that Genesis usually doesn't announce a company is using its products until the customer gives them the OK.
