I doubt the IBM news will carry beyond the early morning. Remember we got lots of analysts comments. I don't it will require a rocket scientist to determine that IBM has specific problems that don't apply to most other companies. Microsoft provided the best indicator of Y2K, IMHO. Actually so did Sunw, Gateway, Intel stated that it would be a good quarter.

It is basically IBM and people will realize it tomorrow--no doubt.

The only reason i had not bought HLIT is that i was not aware of it. If i had known, I would have picked it up before earnings. I have bought every company in the sector---at least the ones i am aware of.
