But that does make me bald and middle aged, so am I a boomer or a genX'er? The counter culture I saw were the burnouts the finished the social revolution. They didn't protest anything that had meaning. Come'on, gay rights, can't they find a better reason to get togethor and light up? Those nester's are the people I work with. I'm a geezer geek, a former IBM mainframe guy turned networks (thank God for Unix!) I wouldn't call the people I work with the "me" generation, unless you mean, "My family, My God, and My job first!" What's so wrong with that? Oh, and I did say that the good that came out of the 60's was gains in civil rights, and womens rights. But, really, you guys should have done a better job raising your kids. The crime rate just hit a low not seen since 1967. That means it was lower before the summer of love.
