It's called Capitalism - and that is what's made America the land of opportunity. Here is another spin- I'm 33 and will start a family in the next few years. My investments and the current bull market will allow me to retire soon and be a better father to my future children. I can coach little league, spend more time, etc. I suggest that this is much better for them than having me work my ass off for 60 hours a week until age 65. In the last industrial revolution, the standard of living and life expectancy increased greatly. There are some good aspects to all of this. Go after MTV - not the stock market.
