Imo, y2k was very convenient in explaining away IBM's disappointments. I think it has a false ring to it, and based on the after market quotes I've heard, the street isn't convinced either.

I don't think aol made their whisper number, and gateway didn't surprise either. NDX futures are looking pretty red (presently down 27 points), so we may be in for a tough day tomorrow.

I managed to pick up some more LEAPS today while Q was trading below 200. Let's hope the market gets a little stronger before Q reports, or we won't have an pre-earning run up at all.
