Unclewest:
Intel has known for a long time that if you want to get data from hard drive to CPU or from CPU to video card it wasn't a function of CPU speed or subsystem speed but memory bandwidth. Without RDRAM, you can't increase hard drive read performance even though you boost CPU speed to 733 MHZ and use fast ATA 66 hard drive. When people see that 733 MHz CUMIne and 810e chipset do not go much faster than 600 MHz PIII and BX chipset, they will look much more carefully at 820/840 with RDRAM.

PS I found that file buy searching for "840" on Intel web site. I think it will disappear soon as someone rechecks security. You can't get that file by stepping down from developer.intel.com home page.
