Doz,

It's clear to me, but what do you think caused the rebellion and selling in TER and TXCC and RFMD today? TQNT was fine.

Even AMCC and PMCS, both who had spectacular earnings, and to a less extent VTSS, weren't immune. This "buckshot" seems really random.

Can you make any sense out of why this selloff? Capture gains, sell the news, something fundamentally wrong? Something else? Was it a hair crossed on someone's ass? <g>

The reason I ask is that there are a few "high profile" optics companies that have yet to report. I don't need to mention their names, you know who they are!! <G>

If this action is gonna take these pups down indescriminately, I'd like to know about it NOW <VBG>

Steve

BD, I don't understand the IBM statement that PC sales are going to be affected by Y2K pressures. I and many of my friends are now in the process of buying new PCs, before Y2K, that are faster and upgradeable -- and I have to believe that if we are doing it, others are, too -- and then there's the Christmas season. In my opinion, the 4th quarter is going to be "gangbusters" for PC sales.
