MG, Uh, unfortunately its my fault.

I introduced TM to Bessie. I played her a couple of times from $7 3/8. Well, this time she broke. Happens!

I don't know of any mutual fund that tracks OEX. I've been away from those animals for some time.

I kept the Phleet in port. Just kept looking at that weekly OEX chart with the bearish MACD signal last week, and staring at the long bond rate on the TV, and all the short term indicators at the top, and ... couldn't convince myself that this is an entry point. We'll see!

***OT*** re metals, shredding, etc...
one of my customers in a life PRIOR to recycling business was INDALLOY
they would pickup aluminum in various forms from customers and return ingots, charge the processing and transport differential and guarantee quality for the customer's desired factor inputs

my accounting background allowed me to spot the phenmomenal profit component that they had in the 'float', the time that the scrap and was on the trucks, as they would charge the customer on drop off but credit when the material was either delivered in the yard or smelted

re shipping containers, yes compactor boxes work, but i'm not sure if you can put them directly on a ship

quite right about the processes, the actual redirection of the byproducts require considerable education in order that the customer's begin to 'own' the process

it's been a while for me, but the concepts haven't changed, if one can find a way to convert the byproducts into new materials/inputs or actually 'create' a new product, then there is the potential for a wildly successful project

regards,
ynot ;)

MG, I think that's the kind of girl Paul likes!

He takes 'em out on that big boat of his and lets 'em bait his hook.
I'm pleased to make your aquaintance.

A humble student of Berney's,
Bob

MG, Big Blue's Blues

Nice Observation:

Message 11487767

Looks like the decision to keep the Phleet in port was the right one. I sure anguished over that one.

I did it on a lark, not on any technical smarts. Fortunately I didn't back up the moving van. gg I do wish it would let me out!
