Lee, was that the entire contents of the WSJ you posted? It sure seemed like it. I guess I can cancel my subscription, since I get it free from you. :-)

Don't mind me, Lee. I'm just ticked at IBM, blaming falling sales of mainframes on Y2K. With Dell and MSFT just announcing record shipments of unit volumes of WinTel platforms, it's obvious what's happening here.

I'll be dumping my Nov SPX 1250 calls at the open, which I bought on Monday. I won't make a whole lot, since I paid such a huge premium for them.

"On the negative side, we saw a Y2K slowdown toward the end of the quarter, particularly in our large servers, and to a lesser extent in services and operating systems software," he said. Large servers refer to IBM mainframes and minicomputers.

I usually use Fib numbers... 5, 8 and 13... sometimes sneak a 17 which is 1/2 the 34 Fib number.
