I agree, they are boring, IBM like. With the coming of music servers, house servers and home networking tying it all together, the time is ripe to enter the high-tech home with bizazz, not three men looking corporate like. MD should dig out Gates' "The Road Ahead" CD-ROM and make it happen!! Geeezz it's so obvious. You want to make money in consumer market and not have to sell trash computers for less then $400, you come up with a system that lays it all, with migration path, where one can buy some it now, or all at once for the well healed consumer. DELL should do a deal with Sony, heck Sony and Japan Inc. will just do it themselves and the USA computer makers will be left behind like the consumer electronics industry was. Don't give me the crap about how computers industry is different and how Japan has failed in it. We all know the present day PC still too hard to use the industry is spending Millions to change that. Japan knows there is window. Watch the game consoles they are the Trojan horse for Japan Inc. Greg
