Good evening Bill:

I think the investing public, at least the over 40 gang will take IBM's announcement that Y2k is a problem and get serious about selling. Big Blue has been a bell weather for this gang for a long time.

Thanks for the replies. I caught the tail end of that interview and was perplexed to say the least.

Bill,
This is like being the puck at the every week hockey game. Short term indicators are useless. The market certainly looked like it had leadership, till premonitions of a nuclear winter have me checking my radiation badge. Back to school PC sales were strong. Business sales are weakening. Retail sales reporting is mixed. Should I reorganize, restate or merge before leaping into the Millennium, or wait till March? The nine percent investment trust factor compounds in both directions - Bubbleology.
