bottom line for the silence they are a teeny weenie bit confused, not sure where the temblor is at this point except that it is lower, the gas readings in light of the kind of rock they are drilling through don t mean all that much either, theyhave to crack the temblor seal, and that thumpers and vsp s be damned is not where they thought it would be, the stocks are holding remarkably well all things considered, and I guess i owe sp a beer!

I think the reason for the news drying up is that there isn't any. No news at CC. They just continue to drill looking for that next layer of sand. I don't think anybody really knows where it is.

For Sam: As for stopping short at ELH, now there is a conspiracy theory!! If that is a con job it is one of the greatest of all time. They have everyone convinced around here from the drillhands to the consultants. Did you see the blowout? Did you see the repeated failed attempts to kill that well? Did you see the flare from lost circulation on the relief well? I can guarantee you that was all very real! I don't see how you could get that many people to pull that one off.

All that being said, I guess there are still high risks with this play. Even with the best intentions, CC could fall short of expectations and ELH could cone water on the 2nd day of testing. Yikes, did I say that! I am betting that the test will prove successful and provide for a good minimum reserve number.

Good luck killing time, waiting.....
