It's not yet over. Back after the commercials. So far emphasis has been on concerns of the Dr. Carlo, hired by the cell industry six years ago to study the issue. Focus on the emission of microwaves from the antenna, being close to the head and going into brain, possibily causing brain tumors.

Recommendation: use an earpiece to get the handset away from head, brain. ABC tested 5 MOT, NOK AND ERICY phones. StarTac did the best because the clamshell, when open creates barrier between head and antenna, and the antenna ends up at an angle away from head.

Biggest problem: ABC did not test a single digital handset--cdma or tdma. Cdma phones should emit less power.
