stocks are only paper , and they print four new ones each day to read in toronto...some people do sell their houses when they think they've peaked, and go for a rental ...they repurchase lower or higher....
i don't know how people on the thread fare in trading...certainly there is frustration exhibited...statistically daytraders don't do well...
i still think you should sell your s and p index or whatever you hold in your ira...perhaps one should only trade once a decade, but now is the once...where i disagree with the bk group is i think the crash happens next year, however i agree with the majority of the thread that it will occur...i don't know how much you have in your ira and it ain't my biz, but if you can get 6.5 % on a long bond, or 7 % which could come around the pike, why not take it and avoid risk ?
