Zeev, yes I agree with some of what you have said. I also believe there is much speculation in articles like the one from Street.com. Much of the speculation is because of the lack if info due to the blackout. Shorts are licking their chops, while longs are scratching their heads. I disagree however with the transition to a successful 840 as you see it. At the present I see it as "thats the beef" everybody is waiting to see. Once they know the beef is there, really know, then we will see some positive action. Other solutions will only gain momentum if Intel allows it, for themselves or others. Any resistance by Intel to other solutions will have a "follow the leader" affect on Intel. In other words I believe that Intel's customers will say, "let's go along with Intel, why resist now and go through this crap again 6 months from now." Being on the dark side (blackout) is going to be bad for rambusites regardless of IBM or AOL. Of course this is all JMHO, and what do I know. I could go on and on but I'm to aggravated. Lets see what happens. Good luck to all.
